Doberlator?!

It was such a cooling morning!
Its a waste to have a medical appointment so early today.

Woke up around 7.30am this morning and saw a rare sight!
The morning sun was below the storm clouds.
And the storm clouds are dark!
This creates a rare sight of all buildings are only 1/2 lit.
And it somehow creates a beautiful skyline at the CBD area.

Because of the weather...
I only REALLY climb out of my bed at 8.
And my appointment is at 8.30am in Alexandra Hospital.
The entire process of me stepping out and returning home took only 2 hours...
that is because I there just to get something. Zzz...

Anyway, where is Doberlator Road?
The cab I took today mentioned this place...
Its only after throwing the driver some question marks then I realised he is actually trying to mean LOWER DELTA ROAD.
This somehow reminds me of another place...
Also mentioned by an uncle taxi driver.
Where is "Ah-nee"?
Hint: It is a MRT station.

I guess I had went back to 1 entry a month situation now.
Laziness + Business = Kills blogs.
Oh by the way, the place is Aljunied Station...

Family & Friends

A conversation triggers me into thinking...
No. Not just one... But 2 particular conversations with 2 different person.
No. Its many into one. Including what I had overheard, talked about etc...
And it sorts of come out one hell of an oxymoron result...

I had this mindset in the past.

All friends and families are equally important, they will be by your side all the while.
Sharing and giving and taking care of each other.
They will listen to your problems and help you with it.

But after hearing so many things from the people around me...
This mindset below is now overwriting the thought above at an alarming rate.

Now, it seems to me that its usually the close friends that lend you a listening ear.
And it is your family or relatives that will do the actions.
But at the same time, it is your close friends that refuse to do the actions.
And its your family or relatives that refuse to lend you a listening ear.

No wonder we tend to classify friends as backstabbers.
And no wonder we tend to classify family and relatives to be ignorant.
No wonder why some people find everyone in this world to be so screwed up.

Meetup with my NUS colleagues last week.
More than the expected number of people turned up.
In fact its so many people that I ended up not talking much to many people.

Well, I will be flying to Australia for 3 weeks in November.
Not to relax, but for Army.
Lets hope I can R&R for at least 1 or 2 days then...

BUT before everything goes on, I need to make a new passport!
The old one's still my primary school look and had expired ages ago!
And I have to make a new ATM card.

I had lost track of many stuffs and times.
...

I got a external keyboard to replace my laptop's.
Went to Ion Orchard as well.

Anyway, went to IMM's Cafe Cartel today.
Absolute disappointment.
Its seriously not worth the service charge you paid in for it.
The only good thing is the iced water, which served well fast.
Other than that, everything else went downhill.
The senior manager provides the worst service.

Thinking that its just a shock for them especially when a whole group of 13 14 people came in almost at the same time, I went hungrygowhere.com to have a look at the reviews. And it does not come as a surprise to see the rather-low-ratings given to the service.

Nevertheless, for me to visit this outlet again? No-no...
Went your partner is already finishing his food, and none of the things you ordered had been served to you, that means poor service.

Recent movie: Where Got Ghost...
This is amongst the first ghost movies which I do not really feel like watching. First Jack Neo's. The reason? It is a comedy... I think comedies will make a next-dimensional creature in the show stupid. I duno why... I would very much prefer real scary movies that can haunt me in my dreams for months and months, scaring the hell out of myself...

Gathering II

Meet up with my darlings on Saturday again.
I still think its too short!

Ok, at least we managed to had fun in Minds Cafe in Boat Quay and caught the NDP fireworks by surprise... (But also got caught in the after-NDP crowd...) Ran to Somerset to find GX before we went Orchard Central for a walk...

I amazed by the facade of the building. Imagine having the height of Plaza Singapura AND The Cathay + The shops of Paragon + Long escalators of Dhoby Ghaut + The style of the new MRT stations + Temperature of the coldest Cinema... Well, anyway, its a excellent to chill out la... And there is a women 50 metres in height!

Bump on to Tat Wee... Ok, its his voice that caught me first. =P
Sigh... Its SUNDAY. Cannot wait to book out! Man... It is not even a MONDAY!!!
