傻人有傻福

In the army, every recruits can be classified into 3 major groups.
The very hardworking people, the usual ones, and those very jialat ones...

My supervisor in NUS workplace told me...
To have a good life in NS, you need to be at either of the 2 extremes...
The hardworking... people will respect you....
The jialat... people will be afraid of you...
Only those in the middle will suffer the most...

Everytime in the camp, I look at my buddy...
He seems so happy everytime...
傻人有傻福吧...

Lucky

Its pouring now...
Thank goodness my days in the wild are over...
and did not rain this much...
Wonder what are those people having their outfield doing now...
Man... I cannot believe we are so extremely lucky...
Its such a huge contrast between the lucks of our COY versus the one beside us.

24 more days

24 days left to POP!!!
Its like... So fast... and that 24 days include weekends...
My sir told me once the main events like range, field camps, grenade is over, time will fly like nobody's business... Even though its been seriously tough, i am pretty sure I am going to miss so many things... And yes, I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO 10 DECEMBER... and I still cannot wait to get my pink IC back 2 years later! Imagine getting back the pink IC with your primary 6 face 2 years later when you had been tranformed to another person.

I pretty sure my schedule next week onwards will be SOC SOC SOC IPPT IPPT IPPT SOC SOC SOC GRED GRED GRED SOC SOC SOC IPPT IPPT IPPT SOC SOC SOC non stop.

Booked out for 1 miserable day last night. going back in later. Not even 24 hours for me to enjoy.

Contradicting...

  • When you are in field camp, you will learn how to appreciate your camp more...
  • When you are in your camp, you will learn how to appreciate your house more...
  • When you are unable to sleep well in your tents or trenches, you will learn to appreciate your bed more...
  • When you are unable to sleep well in your bunk bed, you will learn how to appreciate your house bed more...
  • When you have to take stairs everyday, you will learn how to appreciate the lifts and escalators more...
  • When you have to walk everywhere all the time, you will learn how to appreciate public transport more...
  • When you have to train outdoors in the sun, you will learn how to appreciate the wind more...
There are many simple things in life we had never look into it before... Many people tends to overlook into those things in life... One nice example is, when you are sitting in a car, you will feel that getting driven around does not feel as good as driving people around. But when you are the driver, you might think that driving people around isn't that good after all, and you will feel like getting driven around once again. Maybe its nature? Maybe its because we had took too many things for granted...

Treasure life. Learn to appreciate everything you do.
Somehow somewhat someway sometimes... Sad to say...
I was unable to appreciate my BMT life.

Why does people say its very physical tiring in NS??
I find it even more tiring for the mental mind...
Its not just to face with the trainings and lectures, and also the views from people of the public. I overheard someone calling me a jockey cap bastard on my bookout day. Well, its true, recruits are the lowest form of human life anyway. And I have to admit it. Totally f***ed up.

I used to be a very optimistic person. I have the ability look into the better side of everything. I can be very patient even with the most irritating person. Now I admit. I'm no longer.

I dread going back to camp...

Heavy damages

Damages during this bookout: Over $150...
Movies, Army Stuffs, Food, Transport...
Can you believe I spent over $150 just on those?

Anyway...
Food still is the bulk of those flown away cash lah...
Prata, Laksa, KFC, Coffee Bean... Yum!!!

The Coffin

Went to catch The Coffin with my bunkmates on bookout day midnight!

My comments...
Scarier than 4bia, but failed on the storyline.
Its kinda based on 2 separated stories...
But at least the ending is not confusing and it is almost those kinds of movies I like. No stupid twists that seems to confuse you suddenly.

Overall... 3.75 popcorns out of 5!!!
Do you believe in bad karma?

祝我... 生日... 快樂...
老實說...
經年的生日其實我過了不是很好...
沒有心情...

不過...
我還是有不少豬朋狗友記得我的生日...
謝謝你們啦...

So my birthday so happens to fall on my last day of field camp.
It was great since that means at least I have something to look forward to during the tiring field camp. I will not say its tiring physically, but it is very mental tiring.
I have another "field camp" coming out. S**T!!!
Guess I will not be booking out as often from now.
But I have no choice right?
